What the site is
A free reference for learners: natural ways to say things in other languages, with explanations and synthesized audio. Answers are written by an AI model and the audio is computer-generated.
Answers can be wrong
We work to make answers natural and accurate, but they are generated automatically and may contain mistakes or sound wrong in some situations. Use your judgment, especially for anything important such as medical, legal, business or official communication.
Using the site
- Use it for learning and for your own communication.
- Do not overload it: no automated mass requests, scraping or attempts to get around its limits.
- Do not use it to produce harassment, hate or anything unlawful, and do not try to break or misuse it.
- What you type into the box may be kept and published as part of the site (see the Privacy Policy), so do not type personal or confidential information.
Accounts
You do not need an account to use the site. If you have one, keep your sign-in secure. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Content
You may use what you find here for your own learning, and quote short parts with a link back. Copying the site or large parts of it is not allowed.
